The Zebra Swallowtail catapillar has a very unusal way that it walks. It walks like its on a rubber band. Forward, stop, back up, stop, forward. Very cool to watch. All butterfly egg shipments must be next day air. Eggs should hatch with in one week. Remember you must have Pawpaw for these caterpillars when they arrive as their food supply. They eat a lot, so be prepared. You may purchase your Pawpaw from us or from a local dealer. Caterpillars usually take from one to three weeks to reach pupation size depending on species.
