Description Great Southern White butterfly eggs are a yellow color and are laid in clusters. They are pointed at the top end and are vertical. All butterfly egg shipments must be next day air. Eggs should hatch with in one week. Remember you must have cultivated cabbage for these caterpillars when they arrive as their food supply. They eat a lot, so be prepared. You may purchase your cultivated cabbage from us or from a local dealer. Caterpillars usually take from one to three weeks to reach pupation size depending on species.
